The idea is simple: focus your thoughts and beliefs to shape your reality. Yet, while manifestation is wildly popular, society seems equally obsessed with health&#8212;specifically, how <em>unhealthy</em> we are. Everywhere you turn, there&#8217;s a new warning: this food is toxic, that diet is a miracle. The contradiction is stark. If manifestation requires believing in the outcome you desire, how can we manifest good health while constantly bombarded with messages of sickness and dietary dos and don&#8217;ts?</p><p>The core of manifestation lies in belief. To manifest wealth, you visualize abundance and trust it&#8217;s coming. To manifest good health, the same principle applies: you must genuinely believe you are healthy. This isn&#8217;t about ignoring medical advice or skipping doctor visits&#8212;it&#8217;s about cultivating a mindset that aligns with vitality. Constantly focusing on what&#8217;s &#8220;bad&#8221; for you&#8212;gluten, sugar, processed foods&#8212;traps you in a cycle of fear and negativity. If you&#8217;re always thinking, &#8220;I&#8217;m unhealthy&#8221; or &#8220;I need to fix my body,&#8221; you&#8217;re reinforcing a reality of sickness. Manifestation demands a shift: see yourself as strong, vibrant, and thriving.</p><p>This principle extends beyond individual practice. In chiropractic care, for example, the best results often come when the chiropractor visualizes the patient as fully healed. When both the practitioner and patient share a clear vision of the end result&#8212;complete recovery and vitality&#8212;the outcomes can be remarkable. This shared belief amplifies the healing process, aligning thoughts, actions, and energy toward a positive outcome.</p><p>This doesn&#8217;t mean blindly ignoring reality. If you&#8217;re unwell, acknowledge it, seek treatment, and make informed choices. But alongside practical steps, nurture a belief in your body&#8217;s ability to heal and thrive. Instead of obsessing over &#8220;bad&#8221; foods, focus on nourishing your body with what feels good. Celebrate small wins&#8212;more energy, better sleep, a stronger step. Visualize yourself moving through life with ease and strength. These thoughts aren&#8217;t just fluff; they shape your actions and energy, creating a feedback loop that supports health.</p><p>The health industry&#8217;s noise&#8212;endless diets, fads, and fearmongering&#8212;clashes with manifestation&#8217;s core tenant: belief shapes reality. If you&#8217;re told you&#8217;re one wrong meal away from disaster, it&#8217;s hard to feel healthy. To manifest good health, filter the noise. Choose empowering beliefs over fear-based ones. Trust your body&#8217;s resilience. Eat mindfully, move joyfully, and rest intentionally, all while holding a vision of yourself at your best. Manifestation isn&#8217;t magic&#8212;it&#8217;s a mindset. personality&#8212;the parts we&#8217;ve repressed or denied because they feel unacceptable or uncomfortable. </p><p>Have you noticed the people who are the most homophobic usually turn out to be gay themselves?</p><p>That&#8217;s the kind of stuff we are talking about here.</p><p>Emotions like anger, jealousy, fear, or shame, often buried deep in the unconscious due to childhood experiences, societal expectations, or personal wounds.</p><p>We all carry a shadow; it&#8217;s shaped by what we&#8217;ve learned to hide to fit in or maintain a positive image. </p><p>For instance, if expressing anger was discouraged in your upbringing, you might suppress it, only for it to surface indirectly as resentment or passive behavior. </p><p>The shadow isn&#8217;t inherently negative&#8212;it&#8217;s simply unintegrated. Ignoring it can lead to projecting those traits onto others or self-sabotaging patterns, while confronting it fosters greater wholeness, the journey toward becoming your authentic self.</p><p>In practice today, shadow work has evolved into a tool for personal growth, appearing in therapy, self-help resources, and spiritual contexts. It&#8217;s an ongoing process, not a quick resolution. </p><h3>Methods</h3><ul><li><p> Journaling to uncover triggers-asking yourself what irritates you in others, as it often mirrors your own shadow</p></li><li><p>Meditating to sit with uncomfortable feelings without judgment. </p></li><li><p>Creative expression, like writing or art, to bring these aspects to light. (I did this myself via my writing at http://unlucid.us)</p></li><li><p>Therapy-guidance from a trained therapist that can help you find your triggers.</p></li></ul><p>From my own experiences helping clients, I&#8217;ve seen how repressing emotions creates blockages that manifest physically and mentally. </p><p>Allowing yourself to feel them fully, without suppression, can be liberating! It dissipates the intensity and builds resilience. </p><p>The benefits are profound: enhanced self-awareness, stronger relationships free from projection, and a deeper sense of empowerment. </p><p>Traditional therapy usually consists of bringing up past and sometimes painful memories over and over.  Let me state this again: I am not a trained therapist! </p><p>I would rather have pins stuck in my eyeballs than listen to people drone on and on about their problems. </p><p>On my patients I will use some techniques similar to EFT and some that I have developed on my own. Sometimes a chronic body issue is nothing more than stuck emotions.</p><p>I&#8217;ve done the shadow work on myself and I feel like I have advanced a great deal in a short while. </p><p>We all have issues. The more I can stay in flow the more in tune I become.</p><p>I&#8217;ve used this type of meditation to get more centered. </p><p>Practice this when you are relaxed. I&#8217;ve used CBD to help me get more relaxed, but you should use any methods you know to get in the right mindframe to start.</p><blockquote><p> Ho'oponopono is a traditional Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness, rooted in the belief that healing and harmony can be achieved by addressing internal and external conflicts through personal responsibility. The term itself translates to "to make right" or "to correct," emphasizing the restoration of balance within oneself and in relationships with others. Originating in ancient Hawaiian culture, it was traditionally facilitated by a kahuna (healer or priest) to resolve disputes within families or communities. The modern version, popularized by Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len and Joe Vitale, simplifies the practice into a self-healing process using four key phrases: "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "Thank you," and "I love you." These phrases are directed inwardly or toward others to clear negative emotions, memories, or energies believed to cause disharmony.</p><p>The core philosophy of ho'oponopono is that individuals are fully responsible for their reality, including the challenges they encounter, as these stem from their own subconscious memories or "data." By repeating the four phrases, practitioners aim to cleanse these internal blockages, fostering peace and alignment with the Divine or universal energy.
