In 2018 I took my daughter Audrey on a trip to Japan. Her mother had promised she would take her, but she was battling cancer and wasn’t able. Audrey has been struggling with mental health issues that affected our relationship. She went from being Daddy’s little girl to a somewhat tormented young woman.
I wrote this on the plane as we head to Tokyo. I thought it would be fitting to make it a Haiku for obvious reasons. I found itas I was going through my old social media posts.
